Within two or three business days, we'll send you the name, email address, and personal introduction of a potential match. (The email will come from brandon@carpoolingproject.com.) That person will be a neighbor who works near where you work. He or she will be given your name, email address, and personal introduction.

Contact your match and arrange to meet up. Since we are unable to vet people who use this service, we suggest meeting up in a public space. Get to know this person a little bit, and if you feel comfortable, exchange home and work addresses, and figure out the logistics of sharing a ride. Things like: who drives on what days? What time will the driver pick up the passenger at home? And what time will the driver pick up the passenger to leave work? Once this stuff is figured out, start carpooling!
